Two categories

Choose your category and review the submission guidelines carefully before entering your work.

Open to all members of the Saudi Ophthalmology Society.
Submitted photos must be original work by the author.
Photos must not have been previously published on public platforms or submitted to another competition.
If a patient is identifiable, written informed consent must be obtained prior to submission.
Authors retain the copyright of their submitted photos.
By submitting a photo, the author grants the Saudi Ophthalmology Society permission to publish and reuse the photo for educational, scientific, promotional, and Society-related purposes.
Each author may submit up to three photos.

Open to all members of the Saudi Ophthalmology Society and members-in-training.
Videos must be 3 minutes or less, with videos under 2 minutes preferred.
Videos must be original work and must not have been previously published on public platforms or submitted to another competition.
Surgical, clinical, educational, or innovative ophthalmology videos are eligible.
High-quality MP4 or MOV files are preferred.
Videos should focus on the scientific, clinical, or educational content and should avoid excessive music, motion graphics, or visual effects.
If a patient is identifiable, written informed consent must be obtained prior to submission.
Authors retain the copyright of their submitted videos.
By submitting a video, the author grants the Saudi Ophthalmology Society permission to publish and reuse the video for educational, scientific, promotional, and Society-related purposes.
Each author may submit up to three videos.

All submissions must be submitted in English.

All submitted work must be original and the responsibility of the submitting author.

The Saudi Ophthalmology Society reserves the right to disqualify submissions that do not meet the competition guidelines.

The winning entries will be announced during SOS 2026.
